- [Instructor] I'm in 04, 02, Preparing Character…and Body Parts.…Before I jump into auto-rigging,…I want to do some quick prep on my character…to make sure it will work as seamlessly…with the Auto-Rig as possible.…First, I want to make sure all my anchor points…are located at the joints or rotation points…of each individual layer.…So, I'll just hit the Y on my keyboard…to bring up my Pan Behind/Anchor Point tool,…and I'll quickly go through the layers…one by one and move any anchor points…that are not in the right place.…
I'm gonna click on my Composition window…and hit Command + Plus just to zoom in a little bit…so I can get a better look.…I'll check out the right arm…and that anchor point is at the shoulder, that looks good.…The forearm, right at the elbow, that looks good,…and the hand, if I zoom in,…right at the wrist, that looks good.…Let's check out the left arm.…Oh, here we have some problems.…This left arm, I'm gonna go ahead and grab…with the Anchor Point tool,…and move this over to the shoulder.…Let me compare it to this one,…
