- [Instructor] I'm in 07 03, Animating a Walk Cycle.…So I've got my blue Warble character rigged up…and ready to animate in its own walk cycle.…I've left the previous composition open…with all of my reference images for…the different walk cycle poses,…just in case I need to go back and forth to look at them.…All right, back in 03 Walk Cycle.…The first thing I'm gonna do is make a reference layer…out of a shape layer, so I have some reference lines…for the head line, and the ground and a few others.…So let's go up to Layer, New, and make a new Shape Layer.…
I'm going to rename this Reference, all right.…I'm gonna go over to my Pen Tool…so I can create some straight lines.…I wanna make sure my Fill is set so there's none, click OK.…Stroke is red, that's pretty good, and I'm gonna make…this about 6 pixels wide, and I'll just go ahead…and Command + Plus to zoom in a little bit.…All right, with my Reference layer selected,…I'm gonna go ahead and find where…the head line would be, and I'll hold down Shift,…and I'll click to make a straight line.…
