- Alright, lets mount a camera to the outside of the car. One of the easiest ways to do this is a Cardellini Clamp, it's going to be nice and solid. Now I just don't feel comfortable mounting to the outside of the car with anything plastic. I really prefer to use a good solid metal clamp. Now this has got two jaws and you'll notice that these jaws here have a nice grip, there's actually rubber in there to hold it in place. So I could take this around here open this up a little bit there we go it's open position. And it looks like it's going to go better from the back side here. Always experiment if it's a good fit from the front or the back. And we're just going to weave that into place that looks pretty good. Tighten that down. Now don't just finger tighten it, look at it, make sure it's solid, and get it. Alright, that feels pretty good. I'm not going to hang from this by my life, we're not putting hundreds of pounds on this it's just a roof rack, but that's pretty solid. This is an…
