Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video Lessons learned, part of Video Gear: Support & Grip.
- You know Rich, obviously we didn't have…huge follow cars.…- No techno-cranes.…- Cranes and all that kind of stuff.…But we did learn a lot,…there's a lot of really valuable,…and cost-effective ways to mount stuff,…mount cameras and stuff to the car,…and I think the biggest take away…that I took from this week…and the work that we did mounting stuff on the car,…is that it takes some time…to get things secure.…- Yeah, it's secure,…it's making sure you're getting the right shot.…This is a lot of testing, and trial and error.…Not every shot we shot was perfect.…
- No.…- One of the things that I learned,…is it's a good idea to make sure that…those GoPros are shooting…maybe 2.7k or 4k,…so you could punch in on the shot and recrop.…- Absolutely.…I think that vibration is an issue…that you have to try to try to minimize wherever possible.…So, using image stabilize lens,…or built in if it's into the camera.…That type of technology is really important,…and when you can,…try to minimize that vibration in any sort of way,…in or outside of the car.…
