How can I stabilize the shot using a gimbal?

- Hey there, I'm Robbie Carman. - And I'm Rich Harrington. - And welcome back to another episode of Video Gear Weekly, and Rich, this week, we want to talk about, sort of a specialty device, and that's called the Gimbal. Now, I think a lot of people have experience, well of course, with tripods and monopods, and maybe even have experience with over-the-shoulder rigs, but what does a Gimbal do, and how does it differentiate itself from other rigs? - Well, we're going to go really deep this week and explore it, but essentially a Gimbal is something that uses a gyroscope to stabilize the camera, and a gyroscope is just simply a device that can really counterbalance your moves. So you move one way, it moves the other way, and that's going to make sure that we keep a steady shot, which is really pretty cool, so let's explore what we can do with Gimbals this week on Video Gear Weekly.
