- Now Rich when it comes to choosing an adapter…the first thing you have to decide or rather know…is you're going from what to what.…Now it's going to be fairly easy to adapt…DSLR style mounts to another DSLR style mount.…If you're going from Canon and Nikon…you can go to Nikon or Canon, that kind of thing.…It gets a little bit more complicated…when you want to start using older style mounts…that you know sort of some of the C style mounts,…licha mounts, you know some of the Canon FD mounts,…but the thing about it is that there's going…to be a lot of adapters out there.…
Where it gets really confusing I think for people…is when people start talking about things like…flange distance and the mirror box…and all these kind of things.…As a general rule of thumb it's going…to be really hard to adapt something…like a micro 4/3rds system or something like that…where you have a very very very narrow flange distance,…that is from the front of the camera to the--…- Are you touching my sensor?…- I did not touch your sensor.…
