- Okay, Cheryl, we've talked a lot about the type of headphones that're out there. We've talked about when and when not to use headphones. Let's get down to the nitty gritty, and the first thing about additional features of headphones. Of course, the way they sound. - Exactly. - And you, as an audio expert, how do you evaluate the sound of a headphone, what's most important to you? - The frequency response is huge for me. I prefer to have as broad range of frequency response as I can get. And also I prefer a flatter signal, meaning I like the headphone not to color the sound as much as possible. Depending on the purpose, like for instance, the Grados.
