Track lanes

- [Instructor] Let's pick up from where we left off. We've just heard the section where I want to add some background vocals and I've created this single audio track called Aaaaaaagghhh. I've purposefully created one audio track so I can show you how we can use what are known as lanes within the same track. Prior to implementing lanes, if you wanted to record multiple versions of the same audio, you would need to do it across multiple tracks. There's no problem with that, it works well enough but a slight issue would be you'd need to set up each track individually. For example, you would need to ensure each track had the same input buzz roots to it. The same EQ applied or any other effects, et cetera, et cetera.
