Tempo and time signature

- [Instructor] I think it's fair to say that most pop music is written with a standard time signature for four/four and to create a danceable feel runs around a tempo of 120 bpm. Of course, those guides are frequently broken. Nevertheless, I'll use them as a framework for this tutorial looking at how we can use the separate tempo and signature tracks Cubase offers to us. To make this a little easier, I'm going to call into focus the Floating Transport panel that we saw earlier. I'll use the shortcut F2 to open it into view. I've got a restricted width view of it here rather than the unwieldy full-width view that we saw in previous tutorials. Remember, to adapt the width is as simple as clicking the cog there to state what parts of the transport panel are on display. I've pretty much removed every option except for importantly here, the Tempo & Time Signature option.
