- Here I'm going to be picking up from where we left off. Where we looked at MIDI recording modes, I want to open up this HALion Sonic SE events with the key editor. However I went to preference settings, when I double click the HALion Sonic SE event here to open the default editor I see the list editor. I close that down, so to open up the key editor without changing my preferences with the event still selected I'll go to MIDI on the menu and choose the key editor option. Before I do, notice the only shortcut available is for the score editor. Though you'll notice that we can quickly get to the relevant area of the preferences panel with the option set up editor preferences at the foot of this top section of the MIDI menu drop down. Anyway I'll select the key editor option and the key editor now opens up as expected. So there are those notes I some what awkwardly recorded in the previous movie using the floating on screen…
