- [Instructor] Let me introduce you to the low zone area found below the project tracks when Qbase is set to display the lower zone area. The lower zone is a multi view area of the user interface that contains four tabs that we can click between that offers different functionality. If I select a sample track as I have here, the lower zone automatically flicks open the sample control window. Will, it will if we allow the lower zone area to be displayed. I'll show you how to do this in a moment. A sample track is a combination of an audio track and a MIDI track. It works by loading an audio file into the integrated Qbase sample, and then gets triggered form playback by a MIDI note. Just as soon as the sample track is selected, the lower zone adapts to display the audio waveform of the sample, and various user adaptable parameter buttons appear too.
