- [Instructor] Before we look in the following movie at how we can adjust MIDI notes in terms of volume, or velocity to give it it's correct term, within an already recorded event, let me quickly explain how we can move MIDI events between tracks and how we can adjust MIDI note lengths using the Key Editor window. To reiterate what I alluded to a moment ago, velocity is the term that we should use for MIDI notes, whereas volume is used to describe the level of the sound produced by the chosen VSTI that we use. Now, in terms of the chosen VSTI, do notice that at present, this Piano Chords track won't produce any kind of volume, simply because I've not established a link between the event and the VSTI With this Piano Chords track, if we look at the Inspector for it, we see this field stating it is not connected.
