Format a report control

- In the previous movie, I showed you how to apply a report template to format a report as a whole. In this movie, I will show you some of the most common ways that you can format individual report controls. As my sample file, I will use the format control report. And you can find that in the chapter five folder of the exercise files collection. Let's say that I want to format one of the controls that is serving as a header. So, for example, PropertyCity. To format that field heading, I can click it so it's outlined. And then you'll notice that on the formatting toolbar, or the standard toolbar, I have the text controls now active. So, for example, if I wanted to make PropertyCity bold, I can click the bold button and it's applied. If I wanted to make it bold and italic, I can click italics, and that change is made as well. If I wanted to remove the formatting, I can click the bold and italic buttons again. If I wanted to format more than one control at a time, I would click the first…
