- Widgets are things that you can add to your community…that typically are displayed…in the right sidebar of a community.…By default, there are none displayed.…In another video, we showed you how to add…the "Featured Survey" widget.…There are a few additional widgets that are available…for you to use in communities.…They are the Gallery widget, the Events widget,…and the Related Communities widget.…The Gallery widget will show a selection of files…from the community files app.…
Having frequently-used files available to community members…directly on the home page, makes it really handy.…This way you don't have to go digging through the files app…to find something you use all the time.…The Events widget can be used…to let community members know…about events such as web meetings,…customer meetings, or whatever you want.…The Related Communities widget gives community members…a place to see a list of other IBM Connections communities…that they as IBM Connections users…may be interested in joining.…
So let's add the three widgets that I just talked about…
