Switch between Tablet mode and Desktop mode: Learning the Microsoft Surface
Switch between Tablet mode and Desktop mode: Learning the Microsoft Surface

Windows has a dedicated tablet mode, which changes the interface to be much more friendly to touch controls for those times when you’re using your tablet, surface, or 2-in-1 strictly as a tablet. In fact, most of the apps on the windows app store are designed to work full-screen in this tablet mode. Tablet mode is for those times when you want an experience that’s more like an iPad or Android tablet and less like a desktop computer with a mouse and keyboard.
