Working with grading groups

- [Narrator] If you're going to work with grading objects you'll need to understand grading groups. Let's take a look. I've got a series of grading objects in this drawing that represents a pond as you might guess. And when I click on each one it does behave an an individual, but it just so happens that this pond construction, we'll call it, is made up of a grading group. And to show you what I mean I'll click one of the grading objects and I'll right-click and go to Grading Properties. And we'll see that this is in grading group called Pond. What does that mean? Well, in it's simplest form it simply means that that grading object has been grouped together with other grading objects that are in a group that has this name Pond. So just organizationally it helps you manage all the different grading objects you might have in your drawing. For example, if I go into Prospector, under Sites, Site 1, you'll see Grading Groups.
