Using auxiliary geometry

Using auxiliary geometry: Learning Autodesk Subassembly Composer
Using auxiliary geometry: Learning Autodesk Subassembly Composer

Auxiliary Geometry may seem a little out of place here, but this is the true next step to taking our duct bank and making it a lot more effective for our users. As we're always trying to solve a problem one level above the one we set out to solve, let's consider the ability to set our creation point from anywhere on our duct bank. This seems a daunting task knowing what we know so far. This is where Auxiliary Geometry comes in - to help us set up relationships between geometry and not see those relationships in our final Subassembly. Auxiliary geometry is the first topic in this series that will begin to push you out of typical civil design and into more programmatic design.
