Understanding structures

- Now that you understand a bit about gravity pipe networks. Let's take a look at one type of component that makes up a pipe network, the structure. Structures are typically used to represent things like manholes and inlets in your design. Here in this view, we see a manhole and up here we see a couple of inlets and if we pan a little bit to the north, we see an end wall. Structures are their own object type. If I click on a structure, right click and pick properties, for instance. You'll notice that structure is listed at the top as the type of object. So they're their own special type of object. The have their own styles. If I go to the settings tab, notice that there is a structure section and a set of, not only structure styles, but also label styles listed there. They also have their own branch in the prospector tree, beneath pipe networks. So if I go to pipe networks, and find a specific pipe network and look beneath it, you'll see a structures node there.
