Understanding feature lines and slites

- [Instructor] As we saw in the previous video, feature lines have the ability to interact with each other. One thing we didn't cover, however, is the role that sites play in that interaction. Let's take a look. Just to review from the previous video. Hopefully you remember that when I clicked this green feature line and dragged it across these red curve feature lines, we saw this interaction take place and you can really see it well in the 3D view where the red feature lines have bent themselves to match the elevation of the green feature lines. Now the details of the interaction really aren't important in this video. The fact that the interaction happened at all is what we want to talk about here. And specifically, what I want to talk about is something called a site. And if we take a look inside the tool space, on the prospector tab, we'll see that there is a sites node listed in the data structure for any given drawing in Civil3D.
