- [Instructor] Next in line for building realistic subassemblies is working through codes. Codes are how we expose some functionality when we add our subassembly to a corridor model. This is advanced functionality; although it's not truly advanced, since we use it in almost every corridor model as we build a corridor surface. There is a deeper level of information though, that we can build from here as long as we coordinate back to our QTOs and our code set styles. In this video, we will create a brand new, but very simple, subassembly that we will use for our next two videos. Let's start by taking a look at the subassembly I want you to create. Our proposed subassembly again will be very simple. We want to start with a paved lane. We'll stay with the single thickness here, a shoulder, and a sidewalk.
