Tying the entrance drive to the road
- [Instructor] Our next task will be to tie the parking lot entrance to the road out front. Let's dig in. If we take a look at the 3D view, we notice that we've got kind of a disconnect between our road entrance feature line and the elevations of the road out front. Now, sometimes when you do this you have an existing road out front and sometimes you have a design road, which is our case here. We've got a nice brand, new corridor that we're using to represent the road out front for our residential development. Now, that road was build actually in a different course. This road has its own surface that's been assigned to it as well. It's called Shady Ridge Lane FG. There is a surface already there for this road, but it's turned off. So, what we need to do is we've established the elevations of our parking lot all around the perimeter. We also have the elevations on the road. We need to transition from the parking lot elevation to the road elevation along this length of feature line…
