Testing subassembly in Civil 3D

- [Instructor] It's time to take our Hello World subassembly to Civil 3D and see what we actually have. We'll use some pre-configured data to show what our duct bank looks like in plan and via the object viewer. This is the only time we'll really go through these steps again in this course, but I do wanna make sure that we haven't forgotten our activities from a few videos ago and just review the process of importing, since you'll do it a lot. So inside of the Subassembly Composer, we see the duct bank that we've already created. Our first step here is gonna be to save this pkt file in a smart location so that we can access it later. I'm gonna save mine on the desktop under exercise files, within chapter two, and I'm gonna call it ductbank. I now have a pkt file that I can pull into Civil 3D, apply to an assembly, and add to a corridor. Let's do that. Back in Civil 3D, I already have my tool palette open.
