Shortening the corridor

- It'll make things easier if you do a little preparation before you begin your design, to make things go a bit smoother and faster. Let's take a look at shortening your corridor to make rebuild times faster, so that you can work more quickly. We're also going to learn how to make some room for our intersection design by pulling back the corridor. I'm in a drawing called Preparation, and let's actually do the pull-back of the corridor first. We're gonna make ourselves some space to work in. If I zoom in closely, this is the intersection area we're going to work on, and you can see the corridor just kinda butts right into the center line of the existing road. That's obviously not a good intersection design, and that's what we're here to address. We need to make some space in this area for us to work, and that's really easy to do.
