Renaming pipes and structures

- Now that we have our pipes and structures in place and have their styles properly applied, it's time to label these items so that important information can be conveyed. Let's see how it's done. I'll start by labeling pipes and structures one at a time. What do I mean? Well, if I look at the labeling command... what I'll do is go to the annotate tab, and click add labels. This gives me the master label dialogue that has the ability to label just about anything in Civil 3D. I can start from the very top here, by picking the type of object that I want, and the type of label, and so on. We'll pick pipe network... what I was talking about a minute ago was the ability to label individual objects or entire networks at once. We're going to start with a single part so one label at a time. We have the option of doing plan profile or section view, and we're going to do plan view for this video. So I'm going to do single part plan. I'll choose the styles that I want to use... notice for pipes…
