Making and setting variables

- [Instructor] Very often in subassembly design, it will be imperative that you set up some internal variables for your use. This can be particularly useful when geometry that is using the same relationships but is varying in size, you can literally make the geometry once, but by defining and setting variables, we'll save ourselves a great deal of time. This video will give an introduction to variables, their use, and how to make and set them for use within the Subassembly Composer. We'll start by looking at our final duct bank that we created way back in the third chapter. What we've decided now after using this a little bit is that we really want to be able to define the geometry of the duct bank from the top center of the geometry, so let's start by figuring out what the top center is, and then defining a variable to be able to do that. I'm gonna create two auxiliary points here just on the side. I'll remove the arrows here just for good measure, and I'm gonna disconnect the start…
