Labeling your grading design

- [Instructor] With the grading all done it's time to clear some things up and do some labeling. Let's dig in. The first thing I'll do is manage a style or two with my Feature Lines. And I'm looking at this Feature Line here that represents the depression that we created to prevent drainage from running into the building, and I actually want this depicted in my grading plan. I want to show this swale that we've defined here and I want to show it with a dashed line. And the most effective way to that is with a Feature Line Style. So I've gone in and created a Feature Line Style that will do what I want it to do. And I've called the style Site Grading Swale. Click OK and now I see this represented in a dashed green line. Now styles are great, but they can be really tricky sometimes. For example, if I click on this Feature Line and I just take a first glance at it it appears that it's on this layer C TOPO F-E-A-T for Feature, but really that's the layer of the object.
