Label a lot grading surface
- [Voiceover] As we're working out the lot grading we wanna make sure we're not creating slopes that are too steep or not steep enough. Labels are a great way to keep that in check. So let's add some slope labels to lots one and two, the two lots we've been working on to this point. To do that I'll click the Annotate tab add labels, Surface, and then Slope. I'll choose the surface that I want to label which is my lot grading surface, I'll just pick any contour on that surface, and I'm gonna use the two point option, because it gives me control over exactly where I want to measure the slope. And as you may recall we set the corner of this building pad at 2% above this lot corners, so we should see a slope of 2%, and there we can see it's right on. So I'll do some other points. There's the opposite corner. In the back here I see slopes pretty consistent across the entire back yard. So I'll just do one label in the back. So now I can see I've got a 2% slope off of this corner, about a 5%…
