Grading the pond: Part 2
- [Instructor] Let's continue with the pond design by actually carving out the pond depression and creating a pond surface. So, we're picking up right where we left off in the previous video, where we established a flat area where the pond's going to be. I'm going to do a little more basic AudtoCAD to establish the interior of the pond, so I'm just drawing a couple of polylines across the top, and I'll do another one across the bottom. I'll offset those inward, 10 feet. Again, this is just basic AutoCAD. There are probably a hundred different ways you can do this, but I basically want to establish this rectangle that's 10 feet inside of the other rectangle. Now that I have that, I'll need to clean it up a bit. I'm just using my AutoCAD trim command. Nothing fancy here. And now that that's established, I'm going to use my polyline edit command to join all of that together, and now I've got a continuous polyline representing the interior edge of the pond berm. I'll clean up a few more…
