- [Instructor] Available for all versions of Civil 3D since 2011 when the Subassembly Composer was released, are a series of sample PKT files that are great examples of using individual features within the Subassembly Composer, and they're great visual examples for trying to figure out what you're trying to accomplish. Let's take a look here at what they look like. First off, the sample PKT files can be downloaded from the Autodesk Knowledge Network. A simple search of sample PKT files Civil 3D 2017 will bring you to the link that's showing on your screen right now. Downloading the zip file will give to you a series of PKT Files that can be used. In fact, these are the PKT files that I've included with the course exercise files, and we've actually used a few times. Remember back to our barriers example and our switch example.
