Editing pipes using grips
- In the previous video you saw how to edit structures with grips. Now, let's see how it's done with pipes. The first thing I'll point out though, that since our previous video, I've gone ahead and finished up all the inlets. So you'll notice that this inlet is perfectly placed in the corner, as is this one. I've also gone along the road and positioned the inlets there as well. So you'll see that they're perfectly aligned with the stationing every 200 feet and they're oriented to the curve perfectly. So, I've used the same techniques that I covered in the previous video to orient and place all of the structures in our model. So, now let's look at the pipes and what the grip editing capabilities are there. I'll zoom into this pipe and click it and you'll see the grips that are available. We've got a triangle grip and a square at the end, we've got a triangle grip near the middle and also a square grip there, and then, similar to the opposite end, a square and a triangle.
