Editing an intersection

Intersections are quite complex, but the editing tools that Civil 3D provides makes it much easier to make design changes. In this video, you'll learn how to use tools on the ribbon to make modifications to an intersection design. Let's start by clicking the intersection and seeing how we can make some changes to the grips on that intersection. One thing you can do is use the grips at the extremes to pull the intersection geometry back along the alignment to build out the rest of the corridor for that intersecting road. In fact, if I've got two intersections and a gap between them, I can use that technique to close that gap and actually build out the corridor. So, what I've actually done here is modeled the corridor for an entire road just by clicking and dragging a few grips in the drawing.
