Editing alignments with the Geometry Editor

The Geometry Editor command allows you to modify an alignment using the same toolbar that you used to create the alignment in the first place. In this video, you will learn about the many commands on this toolbar, and use a few of them to make changes to your alignment. Let's get started. To launch the Geometry Editor command, you can click the alignment to select it, and then click Geometry Editor on the contextual ribbon that appears because you've selected an alignment. When you launch the Geometry Editor tool, it brings up the Alignment Layout Tools tool bar. And if you've studied how to create alignments, you'll recognize this toolbar as the same one that you use to create alignments. Starting at the left end, we've got tools for creating tangents and curves from scratch. And we've also got tools for setting the default curve and spiral settings.
