Drawing a pipe network in Profile view
- As a designer, it is very important for you to see and work on your pipe designs in profile view. Let's take a look at how to get those pipes and structures to appear in profile view. Before we get started, I want to talk a little bit about the view on the left. And first of all, notice that I've split my screen into two views. One showing the plan view of our drawing, and the other showing a profile view, and if I zoom out, you'll actually see that it's both of them, I'm just zoomed into different areas, depending on which viewport I'm in. The other thing you may notice, is that our site doesn't quite look like it did in the previous videos. And that's because I've taken this view and I've oriented it kind of upside down. North is down, and South is up. And the reason I did that is because the stationing of the road starts here, at zero plus zero zero, and it progresses in this direction.
