Creating grading objects

- [Narrator] Now that you know a bit about grading objects and grading groups, let's create a few grading objects. I'll start by going to the Grading menu and clicking Grading Creation Tools. And pretty much everything you do with creating grading objects is going to come from this toolbar. So I'll just work through the different commands and options left to right. The first option is the grading group. And here you can choose the site and the grading group that you'd like to place your objects in. Notice that I have one here called Pond. You could also create a new grading group at this time if you chose to. Next we have the target surface. We'll get into targets in a moment when we talk about criteria, but one of the types of criteria that you can utilize actually goes out and looks for a surface. So what this is saying is anytime you use those criteria, what surface do you want it to target? So I'm going to use existing ground, or EG. Next we've got some layering that we can…
