Controlling the display of pipes
- In the previous video we learned about structure styles. So now let's take a look at how pipe styles are handled in Civil 3D. I'd like to take a look at a common type of style for storm pipes and that's one that includes some stripes inside the double lined structure of the pipes represented in Plan and sometimes in Profile. So I want to add some stripes to this pipe. How can I do that? Well to get started I'll click the pipe and like we did in the last video I'm going to right click and go to Pipe Properties and of course last video we did Structure Properties. And the reason I like to do this is because I can start with a style that's currently applied, make a copy, and then create a variation of that. So basically what I want to do is take this double lined storm and add some striping in between the lines. So I'll click the drop down, Copy Current Selection and I'll go to the information tab and first off handle the naming part of he business. And I'm going to call this…
