- [Voiceover] In AutoCAD, we use display order to control which entities are seen on top of others. There's a similar need for parcel styles, but it's a bit different because we're dealing with adjacent shapes. Let's take a look at the clever way that Civil 3D handles this. If you're continuing from the previous video, you saw that we took some of the parcels in our drawing and used styles to give them specific designations so, for example, we have this right-of-way style which is currently hatched, and we have an adjoiner style which shows in brown, and then this green-space style which shows in green, obviously. And what we want to focus on with this video is this edge, the edge where two styles meet. So, if you think about it, this edge right here, for instance, is where the right-of-way style is adjacent to the single-family style. Now, as it is right now, in the place where they overlap we're seeing the purple line which tells me that the single-family style is kind of winning…
