Adding and removing elevation points

- [Instructor] One of the most useful capabilities of a feature line is that you can create points that are strictly for elevation and do not effect the horizontal geometry. These points are called elevation points, and let's see how they're created and removed. It's actually pretty simple. I'll select a feature line. On the contextual ribbon tab, I'll see an Insert Elevation Point option, and notice we're in the Edit Elevations panel now, whereas, in previous videos, we were in the Edit Geometry panel. I simply click Insert Elevation Point, pick a point on the feature line where I'd like to create it, and then I have to provide an elevation. Notice that I can type in the elevation or I can do it based on a surface. I'm going to type in an elevation of 2170, and you'll notice, originally, the elevation of the point I selected was right around 2160. So, I'm going to take this point, create a bend in the feature line that is about 10 feet higher than what it used to be. I'll press…
