Adding more structures

- Our storm system is pretty far along, but we still need to add a few structures to make it complete. Let's see how it's done. If we take a closer look at our design here, we see that we have some light blue lines and circles around the outside of the building, and these actually represent downspout collectors, so just imagine that on the roof of the building we're collecting rain run-off and we're directing it down Into some underground pipes, bringing it around the building, and we want to connect it into our storm system. We want that building drainage to also make its way to the pond. What we want to do is place a manhole right here, and then connect that manhole to this inlet. Because of the advanced tools of Civil 3D this is actually really easy to do. I'll click the inlet, I'll click Edit Pipe Network, I'll choose the correct structure, and I'm going to use this 48-inch concentric structure, it's a manhole. My pipe size is 15 inches, that's good, and I'm just going to go up…
