- [Instructor] I'm in Packet Tracer and here we'll see a short example of AAA security using TACACS+. We'll go up to File, and then Open Samples. Once you've downloaded Packet Tracer, you'll have these samples available to use. Go to Router, and AAA and the plain AAA TACACS Server. We'll slide this over, and so you'd retain this, I'll save this as the TACACS2 Server. I'll save that locally so you retain your samples so if you want to go back in and modify or play with them again. Now we'll just pull this up here and just show you what was going on. We have a router, we have a switch, we have a server, and here we want to make sure that everything's talking to one another. And the router itself is configured to use AAA Accounting. Now one of the things is you'll see that it's configured to provide authentication. And what you're going to see is the notification in accounting that takes place when we do some modification we just log in, it will let us know that we logged in. So what…
