In this course, I covered the many elements of secure access with an overview on secure management, including secure device access, in-band versus out-of-band, and network management protocols such as network time protocol, secure copy protocol and simple network management protocol. I reviewed Triple A security that includes authentication, authorization and accounting. I compared RADIUS and TACACS+ authentication, along with the extended environment network administrators manage when dealing with bring you own device, mobile device management and integration of the Internet of Things.
