It learns everything from its neighbors…and sends out packets on interfaces…based on that information.…Now this is often referred to as routing by rumor,…because it relies on the network information…given to it by its neighbor.…Now protocols that are considered…to be distance vector protocols…are EIGRP…and RIP…and even BGP.…Now the flip side of that are link state protocols.…Link state protocols report the links…of all the interfaces participating…in the dynamic protocol you're using.…
