- [Instructor] Dealing with AAA security can be challenging. The Cisco Secure Access Control System is an appliance that provides support for two major AAA protocols, RADIUS and TACACS+. The Access Control System works with multiple types of users and devices that want to join the network, including LAN devices, dial-up, wireless, and VPN users. The Cisco Secure Access Control System interfaces with routers, switches, firewalls, and network access servers. The Cisco Secure Access Control System has been around for many years and, many times, you'll run into this that, after a number of years, it will run into what's called End-of-Life support.
