- [Instructor] Dealing with AAA security can be challenging. The Cisco Secure Access Control System is an appliance that provides support for two major AAA protocols, RADIUS and TACACS+. The Access Control System works with multiple types of users and devices that want to join the network, including LAN devices, dial-up, wireless, and VPN users. The Cisco Secure Access Control System interfaces with routers, switches, firewalls, and network access servers. The Cisco Secure Access Control System has been around for many years and, many times, you'll run into this that, after a number of years, it will run into what's called End-of-Life support. Cisco will no longer sell this product after August 30th and, after that, there will be an End of the Life support and here is your timeline, if you do own this device. What will replace it?
