- [Instructor] In this video, we want to take a look at sizing of our Cisco Unified Communications Networks. And when I say sizing, that could mean a couple of different things. Number one, that sizing could refer to the amount of bandwidth we need between a site and another site or between a site and the PSTN. It might alternately refer to the number and types of Cisco Unified Communications Devices and the types of software we need in order to meet a particular design. So in this video we're going to consider sizing from both perspectives, beginning with the look at calculating the link bandwidth to support a connection out to the PSTN or between sites. And this calculation could also be useful if we have a topology like we see on screen, where we're going out to the PSTN from our Cisco iOS gateway via a digital circuit, like a T1.
