- [Instructor] When we were installing our Cisco Unified Communications Manager server, one of the parameters that we specified during the install process was the IP address or the name of an NTP server. And in this video, we're going to dig a little bit deeper into NTP and see how we can change that configuration that we specified during the install. And NTP is all about making sure our network devices agree on what time it is. One of my favorite sayings about time is, a main with one watch always knows what time it is. A man with two watches is never quite sure. So why specifically do our network devices need accurate time? As just a few examples, if we're looking at log information we're trying to interpret log files for troubleshooting perhaps.
