- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to take a look at the configuration of media resources. And as we've already discussed there are several different types of media resources but we're going to set up a conference call and we're going to do that between HQ phone one, HQ phone two and PSTN phone one. Those three parties are going to be bridged together in a conference call. And that would actually work right now because when we initially set up our device pool, we assigned our HQ phones, a media resource group list that contained a media resource group that contained the software conferencing resources available on our Cisco unified communication manager servers. But those software based conferencing resources are somewhat limited not only do they take process or power away from communications manager, they're not able to mix and match different codec types as part of that conference call.
