- In this module, you were introduced to Cisco collaboration technologies. We began with a look at traditional telephony networks and we considered lots of different components that we might find in a Cisco communications network. For example, we took a look at different servers like the Cisco Unified Communications Manager server, the Unity Connection server. We talked about end points such as a physical Cisco IP Phone or a software-based Cisco Jabber client. Then we got into some design considerations. We did bandwidth calculations, we saw how to make our networks redundant, and we also considered how to better secure our networks using the public key infrastructure.
