- In this section, we're going to be discussing the EIGRP writing protocol. Now, personally, I'm a big fan of EIGRP, because when I was a network designer down at Walt Disney World in Florida, that was our routing protocol. We ran it on over 500 routers, so I've seen how scalable and how reliable it is. And after a review of EIGRP fundamentals, we're going to see how to configure EIGRP support for IPv4 and IPv6 networks. We're also going to take a look at how to set up some optional EIGRP features, such as route summarization, load balancing using the variance feature, and we'll talk about how to create a stub router with EIGRP and we'll check out how to do authentication between EIGRP-speaking routers. Now, let's begin with a review of EIGRP fundamentals in our next video.
