When we talk about a cloud workload, we simply mean the amount of activity running on a cloud instance at any given moment. The workload and average business places on a cloud environment has continued to increase over the years for many reasons including lower costs and ease of use with cloud solutions. This does present security challenges as opposed to having an in-house architecture completely under our control. So it requires some thoughtful monitoring to ensure security. The Cisco solution for this is AppDynamics or AppD for short combined with Cisco Workload Optimization Manager. AppD is able to automatically discover the flow of all traffic requests in an environment by creating a dynamic topology map of every application. AppD is compatible with all sorts of platforms, including AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Citrix, and many more.…
