BGP redistribute routes
- [Instructor] Injecting routes into BGP via redistribution isn't unlike redistribution from IGPs. Examine this diagram, I only wanna advertise 100.64/22 as well as any component routes. Like a standard IGP I will create a prefix-list to filter my subnets, attach that to a route-map, then apply that route-map to a redistribution command. Attaching to router one, I'll start with the prefix list. IP, prefix the list, public, subs, permit, 100.64.0.0/22, less than or equal to, 24. This prefix list will allow anything within my range that has a subnet mask of /22 to /24. Now for the route-map, route-map, con-red permit, match, IP, address, prefix list, public, subs. I'll now attach this to a redistribute command. Router, BGP ten, redistribute, connected, route-map, con-red. Time for some verification.
