- [Instructor] The 200-301 CCNA exam has taken on a new look from previous CCNA exams. This is the first exam to exclude simulations. Simulations require test takers to perform some kind of configuration on Cisco devices. It was thought that maybe the exclusion of simulations might ease the level of difficulty of the new exam. However, this assumption quickly subsided once the 200-301 was rolled out. By doubling the number of questions, Cisco was able to assess a broader range of topics at a deeper understanding. Let's take a look at the static route topic. This topic was the same on the 200-125 exam.
